A very involved position, this role produces Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. During the monthly close, many aspects of internal reporting will be your responsibility. You'll also be reviewing schedules for the reporting processes, communicating with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and playing an active role in compliance.What you get to do every day- Offer descriptions of a large number of financial data and communicate insights in a useful and understandable manner- Take part in various department-wide initiatives- Play a role in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation- Take part the in implementation and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP- Organize capital lease and monthly payment schedules- Carry out month end close, journal entries, without supervision- Manage the design and creation of balance sheet analysis and communicate reports to management- Be responsible for account reconciliations including prepaid expenses, payroll, and other assignments- Keep up fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation- Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as needed
